Our firm’s was led by Mr Tan Yen Wooi, Executive Chairman.
Mr. Tan Yen Wooi is the current Managing Partner of Tan & Loh (AF 0958). He is the Executive Chairman of Tan Yen Wooi & Co. (AF 001820) since the year 2005. Prior to his existing position, Mr. Tan was an auditor and tax consultant, involving in both advisory and compliance area through the attachment with International Accounting Firms (including ‘Big 4′). Mr. Tan is an Approved Company Auditor & Approved Tax Agent (Both approved by Ministry of Finance, Malaysia), Chartered Accountant, Certified Company Secretary, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Mr. Tan obtained his Master in Professional Accountancy (University of London) qualification in the year 2017 and he is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Asean Chartered Professional Accountant (Asean CPA), Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT), Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIA), Malaysian Association of Company Secretary (MACS), Institute of Public Accountants, Australia (IPA), Institute of Financial Accountants, UK (IFA), Association of Certified Accountants, Malaysia (ACA), Asian Association of Certified Consultant (AACC) and Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM). He is also an affiliate of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA).
Currently he is actively involved in the following organisations:
a) Association of Certified Accountants, Malaysia – President;
b) Malaysia Corruption Watch – Committee Member;
c) Malaysian Accounting Firm Association – Committee Member;
d) Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries – Council Member and Penang State Representative; and
e) Asian Association of Certified Consultants – Honorary Secretary
